The University of Florida Proton Therapy Institute is a cancer treatment and research center located in Jacksonville, Fla. It is the only facility in the Southeast U.S. that provides proton therapy, a unique form of radiation treatment that precisely targets tumors with minimal damage to normal healthy tissue.
